CHINA SOUTHWEST ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE CORP.LTD. was established in 1950. It is one of the earliest, most professional,and largest scale state-owned A-class architectural design institutes in the same industry in China. It is part of one of the Fortune 500 companies in the world—China State Construction Engineering Corporation.

The Guangdong branch was established in 2016. At the beginning of its establishment, it was dominated by public building design and landscape planning and design. It made an important contribution to the branch in　the South China market.
