Responsibilities
This level is to play a key technical or manager role in project team, operational team or professional design team. Assure the team to achieve its goals, and toward which it makes consistent and timely progress.
-Play a key role in projects, as a premier Designer or Project Manager.-Lead project design and execution, giving design directions to the project teams, control design quality. Serve as a technical design expert to the project, but generally works through staff to develop and execute design.
-Be able to lead design in a holistic process oriented approach based on a contemporary innovative methodology from the vision to build works. Develop design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope. Develops innovative solutions to problems. -Lead projects that are medium in size: responsible for financial management of the project, ensuring key deadlines are met and that the project stays on schedule and staff are working together effectively.
-Develop and maintain clients, manage the presentation and report development from clients. Play a key role in client management and keep positive client feedback and satisfaction.
-Collaborate and co -work with other team or internal partners via excellent communication skill.
-Mentor young designers. Work, inspire and manage a diverse team of design professionals from around the world focusing on strong communication and team leadership abilities. May work with team leaders on recruit, manage and retain key talents.
-Proactively engage in team building and young professional development.
-Be able to attract and recruit talent designers.
Requirements
-At least 8+ years experience in providing Design/Architecture consultancy services. Recent experience in China essential; overseas experience preferred.
-Proven track record of delivering projects within the industry, particularly in China.
-Ability to capture and successfully deliver projects.
-Proven team work and mentor skills. -Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with staff, co-workers and clients.
-Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese preferred.
-Native Mandarin speaker.
