JD of IT Coordinator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business needs to design and implement new technologies that will improve work flow for end users and It professionals
2. Research and implement new technologies that will increase productivity and bandwidth
3. Plan and deploy storage infrastructure for upcoming projects and archives
4. Plan and Implement disaster recovery options
5. Advanced knowledge of Google Apps for business
6. Network security and remote access
7. Responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory
8. Document technical systems process and procedures
9. Troubleshooting network performance
10. Develops system performance benchmarks and performs proactive performance monitoring on a daily basis
11. Maintains configuration documentation and Standard Operating Procedures for Thinkwell
12. Maintain security audits & reports of server access and activity
13. Performance tuning, networking, system security, IO monitoring and analysis on all network devices
14. Work with core Internet technologies: TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, SMTP, HTTP/SS
15. Work with L2TP VPN, setup VPN end use account, troubleshooting for VPN connections
16. Hands on experience with all of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows , OSX , install software on both Microsoft OS & Mac OS
17. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
18. Experience in file server & printing server
19. Handle multiple tasks and must be flexible in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
20. Perform after hours/on-call support as necessary
21. Collects and reviews system data for capacity and planning purposes. Analyzes capacity data and develops capacity plans for appropriate level enterprise-wide systems
22. Performs moderately complex systems and database administration. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance
23. Supports complex data/media recoverability through system backups and database archive operations
24. Plans, coordinates and directs appropriate level data refresh strategies
25. Oversees and applies appropriate support packages/patches to maintain server integrity
26. Develops and maintains appropriate system documentation to ensure that documentation is current
27. Manage IT hardware proposals requests for projects
28. Define user requirements or technical specifications for large, complex projects
29. Prepare planning estimates for medium to large projects
